African’s and its diaspora have succeeded to carve out a distinct space for the African and Carribean experience amid a black Britishness with a sense of joy, celebration and pride.The diaspora have navigated telling stories, people and cultures of the African continent by creating a safe space for conversations and activities that contribute towards positive narratives around Africa. Culture Cafe sits within the ideas and aspiration for the borough as a community space open for all.

Our design is an inspiring & considered space that embraces a contemporary African aesthetic. Design expression is celebrated through ‘the imperfectionof the hands’ that comes from craftsmanship and hand crafted techniques.This is a comfortable environment that encourages community and fosters collaboration. A space that feels like ‘home’, an enjoyable space for all.
